The Belgian/Flemish government will award up to 35 scholarships to outstanding Master students for the academic year 2015-2016 (starting September 2015 and finishing September 2016).
The purpose of this scholarship program is to offer outstanding students, currently enrolled in their last year Bachelor at a foreign university, the chance of pursuing a Master degree at a Belgian/Flemish university. The scholarship will amount to maximum 7500 euro per academic year and will be awarded for the length of the master programme (one or two years). This scholarship will not cover all living expenses which are approximately 10.000 euro a year.
This opportunity is for your last year bachelor students who could be interested in a Master study at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. The applicants should have a high standard of academic performance and/or potential. He/she has to meet all academic entrance criteria, including relevant language requirements, for entering the Master program in question.

May we ask you to send us the application files of all nominated students, including the requested documents, before February 16, 2015. We will see to it that the files will be processed through the appropriate VUB channels, before being sent to the Flemish government for selection. The Flemish government will announce the selection results in May 2015.
