The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FEBA) is one of the leading institutions for teaching and research in Economics and Business in Bulgaria and the Balkan region.

It is part of Sofia University “St Kliment Ohridski”, which is the oldest (founded in 1888) and most prestigious university in Bulgaria.

Our mission is to produce highly qualified graduates capable of working in all spheres of our public life.

According to a ranking of university education in Economics in Bulgaria, carried out by the Bulgarian Human Resources Management and Development Association, Sofia University graduates are preferred by most employers. Other rankings put FEBA in the top three best performing academic economics institutions.

In the new official ranking system of the Bulgarian universities (by the Ministry of Education) Sofia University takes up the top places in "Administration and Management" and "Economics"

The successful career realization of FEBA graduates is the result of three factors: excellent knowledge in Economics and Law, very good command of foreign languages and solid training in contemporary software applications.

FEBA undergraduate programmes provide a thorough grounding in two major areas, Business Administration and Economics. A substantial number of courses within the German and French language bachelor programmes are taught by distinct professors from Germany and France.

The graduate programmes reflect the changes in society and business by providing specialized knowledge in our Master programmes. FEBA offers double degree programmes with the University of Bordeaux IV and Sorbonne Paris 1.

Harvard Business School courses are taught as part of the master programmes.

Internationalization is a priority. FEBA hosts a number of foreign visiting lecturers from Germany, France, UK, Belgium and USA. We have active student exchange with 23 universities in Europe.

Each year FEBA organizes an international conference with partners from abroad and Bulgaria.
