Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” offers international students accommodation in student halls of residence situated in Studentski grad. Depending on availability, accommodation consists of a double room with a bathroom and shared kitchen facilities (for approximately EUR 35 a month) or a triple room with a bathroom and shared kitchen facilities (for approximately EUR 30 a month).
Better quality rooms supplied with Internet connection are available to international students at the recently renovated university hostel (Block No 8 in Studentski grad) at a monthly rent of EUR 150 for a double room (EUR 75 per person if shared).Accommodation costs approximately BGN 50 to 70 per month. Students can take meals in any of the student cafeterias.
The Central University Library contains over 2 million volumes in various languages. The library’s website, http://ul.libsu.uni-sofia.bg:4501/ALEPH offers a lot of useful information about the services provided by the library, as well as an electronic catalog.
The University’s Sports Department offers excellent facilities for practicing a wide range of sports.
